Rebellion add their name to the growing list of developers and publishers actively supporting PS4 Pro with today’s announcement that the upcoming Sniper Elite 4 will support Sony’s improved current-gen console. What’s more, players on PC will also benefit with support for DirectX 12. The game will still support DirectX 11 alongside. Among the improvements featured within the PS4 Pro version include: higher frame-rate, increased draw distance, improved detail to the geometry of levels, enhanced lighting as well as faster load times.
“We’ve worked really hard to make Sniper Elite 4 our biggest and best game ever.” Chris Kingsley, Rebellion’s CTO and co-founder explained. “And now the power of PlayStation®4 Pro, and DirectX 12 on PC, means we can take things even further for our fans who want the best sniper experience in the world. We’re turning everything up to 12!”
Sniper Elite 4 will be available February 14 on PS4, Xbox One & PC.
